Has Prince got a cat in hell’s chance of successfully removing unauthorised pirate videos and music from sites like Youtube?

Ont he one hand, he could set a precedent and a corner stone of social networking could be damaged.   On the other hand, the damage he could cause to his artistic credibility for fighting the people who ‘consume’ his products could tip the balance against him.

One thing’s for sure, the growth in the numbers of people using the social network opportunities the web offers is growing rapidly - if not exponentially, so this type of action will become harder and harder.

The internet company Google has launched an $20m competition to send a robotic mission to the moon. To claim the prize, a team of researchers will need to send a rover to the moon, make it roam for a minimum of 500m and send video, images and data back to Earth, all before December 31, 2012.
